2025-26 Volunteer Interests

The PTA Volunteer Program is one of the best ways that parents can support the students and staff at our school.

Please review the brief descriptions of each volunteer area and indicate your preliminary interests. Your contact information will then be forwarded to the PTA board member or committee chair that is pulling together that activity and they will be in touch with you.

General Volunteer Opportunities
Assemblies
Volunteer in the school when an PTA funded assembly is scheduled. We typically have 1 Assembly per year.

Book Fair
Help set up the fall and spring book fairs; help students shop. One to two hour shifts are typically available.

Help Coordinate and run the Box Top$ program

Family Bingo Night
Many different volunteer activities exist for this event. Gather donations from local businesses for raffle baskets, donate snacks/drinks for concessions, volunteer the week of the event to set-up, volunteer during the event to help it run smoothly.

Hospitality
Assist with ordering, picking up/delivering, and organizing refreshments for events throughout the school year.

Holiday Shoppe
Help students shop for affordable gifts for family, friends, etc. during the holiday season. Set up and Tear down help also needed. This event is typically held during the first 2 school weeks in December.

Milk & Cookies Day
Held in November. Volunteers visit their child's calssroom to read stories while students enjoy a snack. Specific Classroom sign-up available at PTA Meet & Greet or by emailing milkandcookies@mckeepta.com and specifying what classroom you would like to volunteer in.
