We have several PTA officers that are completing their term this year. Therefore, we are currently accepting nominations for the following PTA Officers:
(1) Secretary – Record, publish and retain meeting minutes
(1) Treasurer – Track all financial transactions, Help develop Budget, Pay invoices & Reimbursement Requests, Balance Checkbook and Report at Monthly PTA meeting
(1) Vice-President – Assist the President as necessary. No defined responsibilities.
You may nominate yourself or someone that you know that you believe would be a good fit for one of the above positions. You may email your nomination to Danielle Barker at firstname.lastname@example.org. All nominations will remain anonymous.
New officers are elected to a 2-year term.
Each person that is nominated will be contacted and asked if they will accept the nomination. Nominees do NOT have to accept the nomination. If the nomination is accepted, that person will be put on the ballot to be voted on at the April meeting. Please take all nominations seriously. It is always tempting to quickly turn down a nomination without fully considering it.
PTA cannot run without officers, so please give serious consideration to any nomination that you may receive and help out if you possibly can.
Voting will take place at the April meeting. If there is only one nominee for a position, a voice vote will be held. If there are multiple nominees for a position, all members present will vote via online ballot process
